Modball 08 - The Route
31 May 2008 : London - Geneva : The adventure begins at our London pit lane and the home of channel 5's 'Fifth Gear' the Ace Cafe. Registration and official meet and greets starts at 5pm, then at 7pm the flag drops to signal the official start of the second European Modball! From here the Modballers drive to Dover to board the ferry to France, and then drive through France to Switzerland to display their cars in front of 30,000 people at the Swiss Tuning Show.
01 June 2008 : Geneva - Milan : The ever sexy show from the Fuel Girls, breakdancing from The Late Show London and a drifting competition are in store for all Modballers as well as being surrounded by the finest modified cars in Europe! After the show all teams head to their cars for the 3 hour drive to Italy.
02 June 2008 : Milan : Italian surprise in store for the Modball Teams. All teams will be leaving the hotel at 7.30am to arrive at the destination for 8.30am.
03 June 2008 : Milan - Zagreb : Casino Party! A demanding drive but with a beautiful 4 star hotel in the heart of the capital waiting for everyone. Croatia is known as 'the Mediterranean as it once was' and will be the home of our Modballers for their Casino Party! 9 Million tourists visit Zagreb each year and has secured Croatia a great reputation for hospitality and entertainment.
04 June 2008 : Zagreb - Budapest : Budapest is full of great places which have a spectacular atmosphere and excellent style... ideal for a Modball party. Note to all Modballers: Budapest is nicknamed the 'Bangkok of Europe'!
05 June 2008 : Budapest - Prague : What happens in Prague, stays in Prague! hands down the best place in Europe to have the Modball final party and awards ceremony! Awards, prizes and embarrassing European Modball stories will be told, no doubt along with some crazy footage from the Modball challenges! After the awards party there is a final secret challenge in store for all Modball Teams!
06 June 2008 : Prague - London : The last day and the 24 hour smooth drive back to Calais driving through 4 countries to make the Saturday noon sailing. The memories, the fun, the adventure and the stories will be going through your minds, the only trouble is, there will be so many that you won't be able to explain them all to your friends and family! And the chances are... no one will believe you anyway!!
07 June 2008 : Arrive back in the UK : Modball After Party... Audio Brighton Beach 5pm - 8pm. Final farewell party for all Modballers to catch up on their weeks and talk about the crazy week they`ve just had.
